About
Nadja Kracunovic (Nađa Kračunović) b.1996 in Belgrade, Serbia, is a multidisciplinary artist currently living and working in Germany.
In her practice, Kracunovic uses mixed media to create a site and context-specific works. Imagination, humor, stages, the concept of the vortex, and storm are present in her performances, objects, and writings. Her works mostly deal with intimacy, imagination, sexuality, the private body, and different social phenomenons.
With a background in theater, Kracunovic creates situations and experiences that disturb and swallow the audience into the self-created world of a protagonist. She distorts reality in order to extend the space of communication with the observer. Performing her alter-egos, the artist enters and exits different contexts through the interdisciplinary work.
